Ministries
Our Senior Citizen Ministry is a vibrant and active ministry at Russell Woods Church of Christ. The Senior Citizens continue to be an integral part of the church community.
The Community Outreach Ministry's mission is to provide opportunities for people to become all that God intends them to be through service to the community.
Our Youth Ministry is committed to encouraging religious growth, promoting positive relationships, and cultivating a spirit of service within the lives of young people under the age of 21.
On Sunday April 17, 2005 Russell Woods Church of Christ inuagurated its first Children's Church. There was a devotional led by young men between the ages of 6-12 years old.
Nursing home visitation began many years ago when members of Russell Woods participated in the worship rotation at the Pembroke Nursing home on Seven Mile Road in Detroit.
